- Initial goals are focused on informing clinicians and decision makers, with a strategy of communicating the
clinical need for the product.
- As phase III data are available and product launch is planned, the publications strategy generally moves to defining a clinical profile through product awareness and differentiation.
- The phase III/perilaunch stage is concentrated on data release at major medical meetings and in printed publications as product-specific communications become the objective.
- Following launch, the primary objective is to broaden product acceptance with clearly established key
clinical communications.
